The Human Character

The Human Character, I've been thinking about it. The fact that a human being can lay their own life for someone else or kill so many others is baffling. The extremity of that character is ridiculous. But even after watching the news reports of good Samaritans and terrorists, i can't help but wonder if there is a choice in that character. Maybe we are all just wired to do exactly what we do. Maybe we don't make different choices, but the same ones over and over again. Maybe all the similarities in life aren't anomalies but scripted lines in a play. Just maybe the human character is just that a character in an already written play. This complexity is interestingly thrilling and I've been thinking about it, shouldn't we all?
Yours Thoughtfully
